This Service Policy explains important conditions that apply when customers submit mobile phones, Apple devices, computers, wearables, or other supported devices to iCareFix for diagnosis or repair.
1. Device Submission
Customers should provide the correct device information and clearly explain the known problem.
Before submitting a device, customers should remove unnecessary personal items and back up important information.
2. Device Inspection
Our technicians may inspect the device to identify the reported issue and any additional faults that may affect the repair.
3. Diagnostic Findings
A device may have multiple faults.
Fixing one reported problem does not necessarily resolve unrelated hardware or software problems.
4. Repair Approval
Where additional work is required, iCareFix may inform the customer before proceeding with additional paid repairs.
5. Data Backup
Customers are responsible for backing up their personal information before repair.
iCareFix cannot guarantee that data will remain intact during every repair, software procedure, reset, component replacement, or diagnostic process.
6. Device Passwords
Customers should not provide passwords unless they are necessary for an agreed diagnostic or testing procedure.
Customers remain responsible for the security of their personal accounts and credentials.
7. Repair Delays
Some repairs may take longer than initially estimated because of:
- Parts availability
- Complex motherboard issues
- Additional faults
- Diagnostic requirements
- Software complications
- Testing
- Supplier delays
- Other unforeseen circumstances
8. Device Collection
Customers should collect their repaired devices within the period communicated by iCareFix.
Customers may be contacted when a device is ready for collection.
9. Unclaimed Devices
Where a device remains unclaimed for an extended period, iCareFix may contact the customer using the available contact information and take appropriate action according to applicable law and our service terms.
10. Accessories Left With Device
Customers should remove unnecessary accessories, SIM cards, memory cards, cases, chargers, and other personal items before submitting a device unless they are required for diagnosis or testing.
11. Physical Condition
Customers should review the device’s physical condition before submission.
Where applicable, existing damage may be recorded during the intake process.
12. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and following reasonable instructions provided by iCareFix during the repair process.
